9 recent hospital, health system executive exits

The following hospital and health system executive exits have been reported by Becker’s during the month of February:

1. Scott Kelly has retired as president and CEO of Medford, Ore.-based Asante Health, following a four-month leave of absence for health reasons. 

2. Eric Strucko, PhD, is leaving his role as CFO for Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles to become CFO of Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine. 

3. Debbie Campbell was dismissed as CEO of Thomas H. Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ill., amid a board investigation.

4. Steve Johnson is retiring as president and CEO of Rockledge, Fla.-based Health First at the end of February. 

5. Phillip Jackson, PhD, is retiring as president of Elizabeth City, N.C.-based Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, effective March 31.

6. Tim Colburn has retired as president of OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville. 

7. Jeanine Gentry resigned as CEO of Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, Colo., after about one year in the role.

8. Paul Korth is retiring as CEO of Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center on May 1, after a decade in the role. 

9. Larry Gray will retire later this year as president of Baptist Health Louisville (Ky.).
