Tennessee hospital CEO to retire

Paul Korth will retire as CEO of Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center after serving a decade in the role. 

Mr. Korth's healthcare leadership career has spanned 36 years, 24 of which were spent at Cookeville Regional, according to a Feb. 2 news release from the hospital. Under his leadership, the hospital invested more than $50 million in capital projects. 

In addition to his CEO responsibilities, Mr. Korth also oversees Cookeville Regional Medical Group and the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation. 

His retirement is effective May 1, and the hospital's board of trustees aims to install an interim CEO by March 1.
