13 hospital rebrands

Hospitals are constantly rebranding as part of their marketing strategies.

  1. Ventura, Calif.-based Community Memorial Health System rebranded as Community Memorial Healthcare. 
  2. Madison, Wis.-based UW Health changed the name of its Rockford, Ill.-based Riverwest Clinic to UW Health Marchesano Drive Clinic.
  3. Princeton (W.Va.) Community Hospital rebranded as WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital to reflect its affiliation with Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine.
  4. Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope renamed its subsidiary cancer treatment centers to the City of Hope brand.
  5. Northampton, Mass.-based Cooley Dickinson Hospital rebranded to reflect its affiliation with Boston-based Mass General Brigham.

 

Dec. 21-Jan. 20:

  1. A group of Virginia hospitals rebranded to include UVA Health in their names after Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health acquired them.
  2. Great Falls (Mont.) Clinic Hospital unveiled a new logo that featured a blue curved line and green and blue hues. 
  3. Richmond-based HCA Virginia Health System changed the name of 12 urgent care clinics it acquired from BetterMed to CareNow Urgent Care.
  4. Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Nash UNC Health Care changed its name to UNC Health Nash. 
  5. Singer Island (Fla.) Health, a behavioral health system, rebranded as Zinnia Health.
  6. Franklin, Tenn.-based Williamson Medical Center rebranded as Williamson Health and unveiled a new logo as part of its expansion.
  7. Paris (Texas) Regional Medical Center is now Paris Regional Health. 
  8. Richmond, Va.-based Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center changed its name to Richmond VA Medical Center to drop the name of the Confederate surgeon.
