Tennessee health system starts rebranding as part of $200M expansion

Franklin, Tenn.-based Williamson Medical Center has rebranded as Williamson Health and adopted a new logo.

The move reflects the organization's evolution from its flagship hospital to a health system with outpatient clinics spanning about 30 locations. The rebranding will happen in phases throughout the $200 million expansion and renovation of Williamson Medical Center.

"Williamson Health is a straightforward, clear way to recognize how these entities have worked together for years," health system CEO Phil Mazzuca said in a Jan. 17 news release. "The new brand simply unifies the many healthcare services we proudly provide our community under one name. The change will not affect our processes, patients or staff in any way, and we proudly remain an independent, free-standing, nonprofit organization."

The new logo transforms its former cross into a design that adds arrows representing "multiple entities from around Williamson County all pointing toward the same mission." A new website will go live in the spring.
