9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Jeff Robertson, CEO of Stillwater, Minn.-based Lakeview Health System announced plans to retire at the end of June. Ted Wegleitner, president of Lakeview Hospital, was selected to succeed him.

2. Mark E. Bush, CEO of Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, resigned.

3. Michael Blauer, CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services’ North Coast service area and Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, Ore., will resign at the end of April.

4. San Antonio-based Nix Health named Terry J. Fontenot CEO.

5. Kathy Clark, RN, president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii on the island of Kauai, will retire June 30.

6. Gold Beach, Ore.-based Curry Health Network announced the appointment of Virginia “Ginny” Razo as CEO, effective May 4.

7. Sandy Haryasz, RN, CEO of 25-bed Page (Ariz.) Hospital, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, will retire in August after 21 years serving on the hospital’s management team.

8. El Dorado, Kan.-based Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital named Patrick A. Auman, PhD, interim CEO.

9. Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples named Scott Lowe CEO. Mr. Lowe has been serving as the system’s acting CEO since December 2014, following the departure of former CEO C. Scott Campbell.
