Kauai hospital CEO Kathy Clark to retire

Kathy Clark, RN, president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii on the island of Kauai, will retire June 30, according to Pacific Business News.

Ms. Clark has served at the helm of Wilcox Memorial Hospital for the last 10 years. She joined the hospital in 2005 as CNO, and within six months was promoted to president and CEO. Previously, she served for 11 years in Palm Springs, Calif., as administrative director of emergency and trauma services at Desert Regional Medical Center, and for five years as director of community and clinical nursing at Rockville, Md.-based Indian Health Service.

Ms. Clark plans to move to Colorado to be closer to family, according to the report.
