Lakeview Health System CEO Jeff Robertson to retire, successor named

Jeff Robertson, CEO of Stillwater, Minn.-based Lakeview Health System has announced plans to retire at the end of June. Ted Wegleitner, president of Lakeview Hospital, has been selected to succeed him.

Mr. Robertson joined Lakeview Hospital as CEO in 1987 and served in the role for 18 years. After Lakeview Hospital and Stillwater Medical Group joined together in 2005, he became CEO of the Lakeview Health System. In 2011, Mr. Robertson led Lakeview Health’s affiliation with Bloomington, Minn.-based HealthPartners.

Mr. Wegleitner has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience. He was named president of Lakeview Hospital in September 2014. He previously served for three years as president and COO of TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Bloomington, Minn. Prior to that, he served as vice president of education, vice president of employer services, vice president of surgical services and senior vice president of hospital integration at Park Nicollet Health Services in St. Louis Park, Minn.
