Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Boston-based Tufts Medical Center named Michael Apkon, MD, PhD, CEO, effective in the fall.

2. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare selected Heather Brace to serve as senior vice president and chief people officer.

3. Brewer-based Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems named Steven M. Berkowitz, MD, permanent senior vice president and chief physician executive.

4. Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine tapped Anna Cramer to serve as chief legal officer, a newly created role.

5. Mayo Clinic selected Gianrico Farrugia, MD, to succeed John Noseworthy, MD, as president and CEO of Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, the 31-member board of trustees confirmed Aug. 10.

6. Marco Fernandez will step into the chief nursing officer role at Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

7. Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Health selected Karen Fordham to serve as CEO, effective Sept. 1.

8. Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, Calif., named William Gamba, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer, effective Aug. 6.

9. St. Louis-based SSM Health selected Tina Garrison to serve as president of SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Mo.

10. Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health officials confirmed Aug. 6 that system President and CEO Howard Grant, MD, will retire in September.

11. New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian tapped Robert Guimento to serve as president of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York City.

12. Jeremy Gray is Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital's new COO.

13. St. Louis-based SSM Health selected Matthew Hanley, MD, to serve as chief clinical officer.

14. St. Louis-based SSM Health named Ellis Hawkins SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Mo.

15. Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif., selected Jodi Hein, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

16. Nancy Hellyer, president and CEO of Christus St. Francis Cabrini Health System in Alexandria, La., is resigning Sept. 28.

17. O'Fallon, Mo.-based Mercy selected Sean J. Hogan to serve as president of St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, effective Sept. 4.

18. Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D., appointed Lee Holter CFO.

19. Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners named Jason Hotchkiss CFO of Trios Health in Kennewick, Wash.

20. St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas, appointed Dan Huffine CFO, effective Aug. 6.

21. Texarkana, Texas-based Christus St. Michael Health System President and CEO Chris Karam is resigning for a new job opportunity.

22. Harrison Kiser will step into the COO role at Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas West Hospital.

23. Norfolk, Neb.-based Faith Regional Health Services President and CEO Mark Klosterman resigned.

24. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare appointed Dan Liljenquist senior vice president and chief strategy officer.

25. Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine selected James Linder, MD, to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 8.

26. Boston-based Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital selected David McCready to serve as president.

27. Juan Mejia will serve as senior vice president and COO of NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in New York City.

28. Advocate Aurora Health appointed Robert S. Miller president of Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wis., and Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington (Wis.).

29. CHOC Children's in Orange, Calif., named Cynthia Neiman vice president of marketing and communications and chief marketing officer.

30. Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y., appointed Lisa Oldham, BSN, MSN, PhD, chief nursing officer.

31. Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky., appointed Robert Parker CEO, effective Aug. 27.

32. Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System appointed Sherry B. Perkins, PhD, RN, president and CEO of Cheverly, Md.-based University of Maryland Capital Region Health.

33. Dorchester, Mass.-based Carney Hospital dropped "interim" from President Tom Sands' title.

34. Kevin Seely, president and CEO of HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill., resigned Aug. 6.

35. Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners appointed John Solheim CEO of Trios Health in Kennewick, Wash.

36. Eileen Sparpana, CFO of Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mich., is resigning.

37. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., named Caitlin Beck Stella CEO.

38. Sam Straton, RN, is the new chief nursing officer at Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas West Hospital.
