Nebraska Medicine appoints Dr. James Linder CEO: 4 notes

Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine selected James Linder, MD, to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 8.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. Linder previously served as interim dean of Omaha-based UNMC College of Medicine

2. He has also served as the interim president of Lincoln-based University of Nebraska system.

3. A pathologist, he is a member of the Nebraska Medicine Board.

4. Dr. Linder succeeds Dan DeBehnke, MD, who has served as CEO of the health system since 2016.
