HSHS St. Francis Hospital CEO quits less than a year into his tenure: 4 notes

Kevin Seely, president and CEO of HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill., resigned Aug. 6, according to The Journal-News.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Seely assumed the top post at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in December.

2. The reason for his departure is unclear.

3. Mr. Seely previously served as vice president of Integris Medical Group and vice president and COO of Integris Bass Baptist Medical Center in Enid, Okla.

4. John Peipert, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer of HSHS St. Francis, will serve as interim president and CEO.
