1. Dr. Perkins most recently served as executive vice president and COO of UM Capital Region Health.
2. She previously served in executive roles within Annapolis, Md.-based Anne Arundel Health System.
3. She has also served as vice president for patient care service and clinical effectiveness at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
4. A fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, Dr. Perkins serves on the Maryland Hospital Association’s Executive Committee and Council on Clinical and Quality Issues.
5. She has completed the Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellows Program in Management at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
6. Dr. Perkins succeeds Neil J. Moore, who announced his plans to leave the system last year.
