32 recent hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves have been reported by or shared with Becker's since Jan. 20:

1. Angela Dowling was tapped as the new president for Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente's Washington region.

2. Jared Smith was named CEO of Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West, both in Boynton Beach, Fla.

3. Chris Mosley was named CEO of HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

4. Kelly Allen, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Wash.

5. John Snow, CEO of Oxford, N.C.-based Granville Health System, will resign.

6. Bryan Kelly, MD, was named president of New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

7. David McKnight was named CFO of St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

8. Debbie Guido-Allen, RN, was named the president of Corewell Health Dearborn (Mich.) Hospital.

9. Ashley Foster was named senior vice president and chief people officer of Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare.

10. Ashley Casad was named senior vice president of system operations and president of Springfield hospitals for Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth.

11. Stephanie Cox-Batson, MD, was named chief medical officer of Unity Health Care, based in Washington, D.C. 

12. David Elgarico resigned as CEO of Framingham, Mass.-based MetroWest Medical Center.

13. Daniel Wright, BSN, RN, resigned as chief nursing officer of Framingham, Mass.-based MetroWest Medical Center.

14. David Kent, former CEO of Covington, Ga.-based Piedmont Newton Hospital, is the new CEO of Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Ga. 

15. Julie Osgood, DrPH, was named COO of Newport, Ore.-based Samaritan Medical Group.

16. Josh Bright, PharmD, was named COO of Harrison-based North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. 

17. Julie Miller-Phipps will retire in July as president of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente's Southern California and Hawaii markets. 

18. Arabinda Pani, MD, was appointed chief medical officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest.

19. Doug Arvin plans to resign as CFO of Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System.

20. Michael Turilli was named CFO of Bedford, N.H.-based SolutionHealth.

21. Mark Stewart was named director of marketing at Dothan, Ala.-based SouthEast Health.

22. Brent Feickert was named CFO of Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield, Iowa. 

23. David Paniry was named CFO of HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate. 

24. Crystal Kincaid, DPM, was named chief medical officer of Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky. 

25. Jerrell Suddreth, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, N.C.

26. Tracy Duran, MSN, RN, was named acute care director and regional director of nursing at Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health's Flint Hills campus, based in Junction City.

27. Timothy Bergeron was named regional director of operations and hospital administrator at Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health's Flint Hills campus, based in Junction City.

28. Mark Holyoak, BSN, was named CEO of Pasco, Wash.-based Lourdes Health.

29. Scott Phillips, acting CEO of El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, resigned.

30. Derek Pierce, acting CFO of El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, resigned.

31. Adam Messer was named president of Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas in Austin, part of St. Louis-based Ascension.

32. Gretchen McCullough, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.
