Washington system names Kelly Allen chief nursing officer

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Wash., has appointed Kelly Allen, MSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer. Ms. Allen played a crucial role in leading the organization through the challenges of COVID-19, serving in her previous capacity as the system’s director of urgent and emergent services, a Jan. 26 article in the Columbia Basin Herald stated.

She has been with Confluence Health for nearly six years, and throughout the last year she served as the assistant to Chief Nursing Officer Tracey Kasnic, BSN, RN, who Ms. Allen will succeed. 

Ms. Kasnic will transition into the role of vice president of special programs for Confluence Health.
