HCA names CMO of Houston hospital

Arabinda Pani, MD, was named chief medical officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, effective Jan. 2.

Dr. Pani comes to HCA Houston Healthcare from Dignity Health’s Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz., where he most recently served as chief of staff. He’d also been practicing as an emergency medicine physician at the facility since 2009 and served on the hospital’s board, according to a Jan. 11 news release. 

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is a 423-bed hospital and Level II trauma center affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, a 13-hospital network serving more than one million patients annually in the Houston area.
