10 recent chief medical, nursing officer moves

Ten chief medical and nursing officer moves at hospitals and health systems Becker's has covered since June 30:

Dignity Health's California Hospital Medical Center has selected Debi Siljander, MD, as chief medical officer, the San Francisco-based system said July 7.

Main Line Health has named Elizabeth (Betty) Craig, DNP, RN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer, the Radnor Township, Pa.-based system said July 7.

Houston-based Memorial Hermann selected Giridhar Vedala, MD, as vice president and regional chief medical officer of two hospitals, Hello Woodlands reported July 6.

Rome (N.Y.) Health selected Ashley Edwards, MSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer, The Central New York Business Journal reported July 6.

West Virginia University Health System in Morgantown has selected Melanie Heuston, DNP, RN, as its inaugural chief nursing executive, effective Aug. 22.

Irving, Texas-based Christus Health named Gerardo Flores, DNP, RN, as its new chief nursing executive. Dr. Flores has been the deputy chief nursing executive for three years.

Henderson, N.C.-based Maria Parham Health selected Shauna Gunthrie, MD, as its new chief medical officer, The Daily Dispatch reported July 4.

Temple Health has appointed Chaudron Carter Short, PhD, EdD, RN, senior vice president and associate chief nursing officer, the health system said July 1.

University Hospitals has selected Kevin Andryc, DO, to serve as chief medical officer of UH Conneaut (Ohio) Medical Center and UH Geneva (Ohio) Medical Center, the Cleveland-based health system said June 30.

Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler, Mo., has selected Jennifer Klinksick, RN, as its new chief nursing officer, 921 News reported June 30.
