1. York (Neb.) General CEO Charles Schulz is retiring.

2. Sanford Worthington (Minn.) Medical Center CEO Mike Hammer announced his departure.

3. Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System President and CEO Linda E. White plans to retire, effective June 30, 2017.

4. Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health System CEO Mark Shuter is stepping down, after contract negotiations with Adena’s board of trustees fell through.

5. College Station (Texas) Medical Center named America Farrell CEO.

6. Silver Cross Hospital in New Lennox, Ill., announced its President and CEO Paul Pawlak will retire in October 2017.

7. Prairie du Sac, Wis.-based Sauk Prairie Healthcare CEO Larry Schroeder plans to retire in January 2017.

8. Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, W.Va., named Tom Neal, RN, CEO, effective Dec. 5.

9. Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Ga., promoted Deborah Armstrong to CEO.

10. Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia named Brian Baumgardner CEO of LewisGale Regional Health System in Salem, Va., effective Nov. 14.

11. Kansas City, Mo.-based St. Joseph Medical Center CEO Robert Erickson stepped down from his role, after a little more than a year.

12. Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island in North Smithfield announced the retirement of President and CEO Richard R. Charest.

13. Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Healthcare Services tapped Dale Maxwell to serve as interim CEO, after current President and CEO James H. Hinton leaves to take the helm of Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health in January 2017.

14. Berlin-based Central Vermont Medical Center President and CEO Judy Tartaglia is retiring March 31, 2017.
