1. Mr. Hammer came to the medical center in 2012, equipped with more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience.

2. He is planning to relocate and spend more time with his family.

3. Jennifer Weg, the medical center’s director of nursing and clinical services, will serve as interim CEO.

4. The medical center is beginning the search for a permanent CEO.
