New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery appointed Pam Teufel as chief people officer, effective Sept. 8.

Ms. Teufel comes to HSS from Radnor, Pa.-based Main Line Health, where she has served as chief human resources officer since 2021, according to an Aug. 21 health system news release.

She has three decades of healthcare human resources experience and previously served as CHRO at New Brunswick, N.J.-based Saint Peter’s Healthcare System and Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals.
