Landmark Medical Center CEO Richard Charest to retire: 4 things to know

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island in North Smithfield announced the retirement of President and CEO Richard R. Charest, according to a Providence Journal report.

1. Mr. Charest has worked at Landmark Medical for more than 40 years.

2. The medical center named him president in 2007 and CEO in 2008.

3. Rehabilitation Hospital named Mr. Charest president and CEO in 2000.

4. He will continue in his roles until the center finds a replacement.
