Vizient taps new leader: 5 things to know

Irving, Texas-based group purchasing organization Vizient named Byron Jobe president and CEO.

Here are five things to know.

1. Mr. Jobe is currently Vizient’s president, chief administrative and financial officer.

2. He will begin his new role April 1.

3. In his new role, Mr. Jobe will replace Vizient President and CEO Curt Nonomaque, who plans to retire effective March 31.

4. Mr. Jobe previously worked for VHA, now Vizient, in the areas of corporate planning and business development, according to the company.

5. Mr. Jobe’s previous roles also include jobs with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health and Irving-based healthcare software and services provider Healthvision.
