10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

1. Robert Rupp, CEO of Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, resigned to take on a new job opportunity.

2. Fulton County Medical Center in Mcconnellsburg, Pa., selected Kimberly Slee, MSN, and Deborah Shughart to serve as co-interim CEOs.

3. Brenda Yee, CEO of San Francisco-based Chinese Hospital, stepped down.

4. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network appointed Paula Autry CEO of Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

5. Charisse Oland, EdD, will assume the president and CEO roles at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wis., effective Nov. 27.

6. Franklin, Tenn.-based Iasis Healthcare CEO W. Carl Whitmer left the role Sept. 29.

7. Byron Quinton, president and CEO of Clarion (Pa.) Hospital, is retiring at the end of October.

8. Philip A. Clayton, president and CEO of Conway (S.C.) Medical Center, is retiring, effective Dec. 31.

9. Children's Hospital in New Orleans appointed John R. Nickens IV president and CEO, effective Nov. 1.

10. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital named Cindy A. Stout, DNP, CEO, effective immediately.
