Here are four things to know about Mr. Gibson.
1. He will officially begin his duties at Erlanger later this month.
2. Prior to joining Erlanger, he worked for East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La., as executive vice president of business development and chief strategy officer.
3. Mr. Gibson’s other previous roles include: senior vice president, chief strategy and business development officer for Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health; chief business development officer for the University of Mississippi Heath Care in Jackson; and a regional leader for IASIS Healthcare in Texas and Louisiana, according to Erlanger.
4. Mr. Gibson is currently working on his PhD at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
