Highland Community Hospital selects new administrator: 3 points

Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, Miss., hired Bryan Maxie to serve as administrator, according to the Picayune Item.

1. Mr. Maxie has worked at Hattiesburg, Miss.-based Forrest Health, the hospital’s parent, for 24 years.

2. His previous experience includes roles at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, Miss., Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss, Miss., and Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown, Miss.

3. Highland Community Hospital is a 60-bed medical center that offers emergency, heart and vascular and women and children’s services, among others.
