1. Minneapolis-based Hennepin County Medical Center has named Emily Blomberg COO.

2. Kristi Sink has been promoted from COO to president of University Hospitals Elyria (Ohio) Medical Center effective Oct. 15.

3. Vera Jones has been promoted to COO of Morrisville, Vt.-based Copley Hospital.

4. Richmond, Va.-based Henrico Doctors' Hospital has named Zachary Reed as its COO.

5. Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., hired Christopher Maloney, MD, to serve as CMO.

6. Boulder (Colo.) Community Health named Benjamin Keidan, MD, CMO.

7. Mike Warren, president of SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ill., is retiring Oct. 6.

8. Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyo.,appointedIrene Richardson permanent CEO, effective immediately.

9. Chinese Hospital in San Francisco named Jian Zhang, DNP, CEO and Deena Louie CEO of the Chinese Community Health Plan, replacing Brenda Yee.

10. Broward Health Coral Springs (Fla.) selected Onel Rodriguez to serve as CFO.

11. Nancy Schmid, CEO of Healdsburg (Calif.) District Hospital and its operator North Sonoma County Health Care District, is resigning.

12. Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health Care SystemtappedJames Fiorica, MD, to serve as CMO.

13. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System namedMatthew Gibson chief strategy officer.
