1. Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System appointed Stephen T. Bartlett, MD, executive vice president and CMO.

2. Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Va., appointed Jody Bishop, BSN, MSN, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

3. MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Calif., appointed Brandi Cassingham, BSN, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

4. Laconia, N.H.-based LRGHealthcare appointed Theresa L. Champagne, RN, DNP, chief nursing officer, effective May 28.

5. Savannah, Ga.-based Optim Healthcare appointed Lora Duncan, BSN, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

6. Turlock, Calif.-based Emanuel Medical Center hired Antonio Garcia, BSN, MSN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

7. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth appointed Mark Hallett, MD, senior vice president and CMO, effective June 4.

8. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare tapped Sally Hurt-Deitch, RN, to serve as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

9. Piedmont Newnan (Ga.) Hospital appointed Jennifer Key, BSN, MSN, chief nursing officer.

10. Payson, Utah-based Mountain View Hospital appointed Katie King, RN, its permanent chief nursing officer.

11. Charlotte Mather, chief nursing officer at Sheridan (Wyo.) Memorial Hospital, is retiring May 18.

16. Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, appointed Angela Treasure, RN, chief nursing officer.

17. Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center named Anthony Weiss, MD, CMO.

18. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Children’s Hospital at Erlanger appointed Charles Woods, MD, CMO, effective this summer.

19. Gainesville, Texas-based North Texas Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Angela Yancey resigned.
