Optim Healthcare hires new chief nursing officer: 3 takeaways

Savannah, Ga.-based Optim Healthcare appointed Lora Duncan, BSN, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer, according to a Savannah CEO report.

Optim Healthcare is a collaboration of Optim Orthopedics, the physician-owned Optim Medical Center-Tattnall, Optim Medical Center-Screven and Optim Medical Center-Jenkins.

1. Ms. Duncan most recently served as director of nursing practice and professional development at Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center.

2. She was also the hospital’s nursing informatics specialist.
