Ballad Health names Andrew Wampler systemwide VP, CFO of 2 hospitals: 4 notes

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health appointed Andrew Wampler vice president of operational excellence and lean management of the health system as well as CFO of Franklin Woods Community Hospital and Woodridge Hospital, both based in Johnson City, according to a Johnson City Press report.

The health system was formed by the merger of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System and Johnson City-based Mountain States Health Alliance.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Wampler most recently served as the vice president and CFO of Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, N.C.

2. He previously served as vice president of finance and operational excellence for Mountain States Health Alliance.

3. In his new roles, Mr. Wampler will oversee financial operations at both hospitals and lead strategic and lean processes of all Ballad Health entities.

4. He will also develop a lean steering committee.
