Baystate Franklin Medical Center taps permanent president, chief nursing officer: 7 notes

Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Mass., permanently appointed Ron Bryant president and Deb Provost chief nursing officer, according to the Greenfield Recorder.

1. Mr. Bryant became interim president of the hospital in January, while continuing to serve as president of Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Mass.

2. He will now serve as president of both Baystate Noble and Baystate Franklin.

3. He has worked at Baystate Noble since 2011.

4. He succeeded Cindy Russo, who resigned following several nurse strikes.

5. Ms. Provost, Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health’s chief regulatory officer, has served as interim CNO of Baystate Franklin since November 2017.

6. She will continue serving as the health system’s chief regulatory officer while serving as Baystate Franklin’s permanent CNO.

7. She has worked at Baystate Health for 41 years.
