18 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network named William Reppy president of the newly created Pottsville, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill.

2. Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center, a part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Duke LifePoint, appointed Preston Callison COO, effective Sept. 26.

3. Bonne Terre, Mo.-based Parkland Health Center named Lauren Beckmann, RN, BSN, assistant administrator and CNO.

4. Chicago-based Presence Health named Maryann Barnes chief nursing executive and experience officer for the system, effective Oct. 3.

5. Saint Anne's Hospital in Fall River, Mass., named Michael Bushell president, effective Oct. 3.

6. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Healthcare CEO Kevin Schoeplein will retire at the end of 2017.

7. Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital CEO Robert Lee has resigned.

8. Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health's COO Ann Martorano and CMO Donald Stoner, MD, will both be retiring soon.

9. Houston-based Texas Children's Hospital named Matt Schaefer president of Texas Children's Hospital West Campus in Houston.

10. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital has tapped Mark Amox to lead the hospital as CEO, effective Oct. 17.

11. George Hayes, president and CEO of UCHealth's Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North, is leaving his post, effective Nov. 4.

12. Pardee Hospital, a nonprofit community hospital in Hendersonville, N.C., named Andrew Wampler CFO.

13. Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., added W. Eugene Egerton, MD, as CMO.

14. Bakersfield, Calif.-based San Joaquin Community Hospital President and CEO Doug Duffield is leaving his post, effective Sept. 30.

15. St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., named Vince Green COO.

16. Seattle-based University of Washington Medicine added Brian P. Goldstein, MD, as chief health system officer, effective November 2016.

17. Bullhead City-based Western Arizona Regional Medical Center appointed Aaron Hazzard interim CEO.

18. San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M., named Jeff A. Bourgeois president and CEO.
