Matt Schaefer to serve as Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus’ new president: 3 notes

Houston-based Texas Children’s Hospital named Matt Schaefer president of Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus in Houston, according to Katy Magazine.

1. Mr. Schaefer was, most recently, vice president of Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus.

2. He joined Texas Children’s in 2009 and has been a part of the West Campus leadership team since it was developed.

3. He replaces Chanda Cashen Chacón, who recently left for Little Rock-based Arkansas Children’s, where she was named executive vice president and COO.
