18 latest hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health selected Brad Beard to serve as COO for Essentia Health-East.

2. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia named Jenny Chan chief investment officer.

3. Moab (Utah) Regional Hospital, a critical access facility, appointed Dylan Cole, DO, to the CMO role.

4. Ft. Lauderdale-based HCA East Florida tapped Josh DeTillio to serve as CEO of Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Fla., effective July 16.

5. Waco, Texas-based Providence Healthcare Network tapped Cyndy B. Dunlap, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer, effective Aug. 20.

6. HCA's TriStar Division in Brentwood, Tenn., selected Wes Fountain to serve as CFO.

7. Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System appointed Doug Gaston permanent senior vice president and CFO.

8. UT Health Jacksonville (Texas) appointed DeLeigh Haley, RN, its permanent CEO.

9. Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center appointed Mark Holyoak CEO, effective Sept. 10.

10. Tewksbury, Mass.-based Covenant Health selected John A. Jurczyk to serve as senior vice president and president of St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H., effective Aug. 13.

11. Kettering Health Network in Dayton, Ohio, selected Eric Lunde to serve as president of its new hospital in Troy, Ohio.

12. PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash., named Sheila Lynam, MD, CMO, effective Sept. 2.

13. James E. Page Jr., vice president and chief diversity officer at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine, resigned for a new position at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Aug. 17.

14. West Hills (Calif.) Hospital & Medical Center tapped Yale D. Podnos, MD, to serve as CMO, effective Aug. 1.

15. Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center selected Thomas R. Schoenig to serve as CIO.

16. Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System named Leigh Sewell CEO of three facilities, effective Sept. 5.

17. Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, Ga., named Robert Sinyard, MD, CMO.

18. Vinson Yates will serve as president of OhioHealth Mansfield (Ohio) Hospital and OhioHealth Shelby (Ohio) Hospital.
