Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is in Mechanicsville, Va., while Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital and Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing are in Richmond, Va.
Ms. Sewell most recently served as vice president of strategic operations for Richmond-based Bon Secours Virginia. She has worked at Bon Secours since 2006, serving in several leadership roles over the years, including as chief of staff to the CEO of Bon Secours Virginia. She has previous experience in corporate sector finance.
Ms. Sewell is chair of the 2018-19 Go Red for Women campaign for the American Heart Association in Richmond. She holds a master’s in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
She succeeds Mark Gordon, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities.
