11 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. East Lansing-based Michigan State University Health Care has selected Seth Ciabotti to serve as CEO.

2. Pineville (Ky.) Community Hospital named Alan Coppock interim CEO.

3. Dennis Jack, CEO of Wilbarger General Hospital in Vernon, Texas, resigned last week.

4. Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health named Maulik S. Joshi president and CEO, effective in mid-November.

5. San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland, Calif., fired President and CEO Harris Koenig Sept. 10.

6. Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw, N.Y., has selected Joseph McTernan to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

7. Twin County Regional Healthcare in Galax, Va., has selected Greg Pearson to serve as CEO, effective Sept. 23.

8. Kevin Spiegel is no longer the CEO of Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn.

9. Joe Stratton, CEO of Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kan., resigned.

10. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Hospital appointed Doug Strong interim CEO.

11. Joanie White-Wagoner, CEO of Martin General Hospital in Williamston, N.C., has resigned.
