Mr. Pearson most recently served as CEO of Minden (La.) Medical Center. He previously served as CEO and COO at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Miss. He also has served as CFO of several hospitals, including St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston and Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Ala.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.
Mr. Pearson succeeds Dale Alward, who is leaving for a leadership role at Sovah Health-Martinsville (Va.).
