Ms. White-Wagoner assumed the role in April 2018, prior to which she was CEO and administrator of Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Ark. The reason for departure from Martin General was unclear.

John Jacobson, CFO of the hospital, will take over as interim CEO.
