1. Cincinnati-based UC Health has selected Michael Legg to serve as vice president and inaugural chief data and analytics officer.
2. Stephen Clark has been appointed the U.S. commercial lead for Healthy.io, a Tel Aviv-based startup developing a smartphone app for at-home urinalysis.
3. Steve Posnack has been named deputy national coordinator of the ONC, effective Aug. 19.
4. Medtronic veteran Tracy Platt will serve as Cerner’s new executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective July 15.
5. GlaxoSmithKline has hired Kim Branson, PhD, to serve as the British pharmaceutical company’s global head of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
6. Adam Boehler, HHS deputy administrator and director of CMS’ Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, has been nominated to lead the International Development Finance Corp. and is leaving HHS.
7. Andy Crowder will become senior vice president and chief information and analytics officer for Charlotte, N.C.- based Atrium Health July 15.
