Three notes:
1. Ms. Platt has more than 10 years of experience in executive HR roles at Medtronic, most recently overseeing the medical device company’s HR leadership for global operations.
2. Prior to her leadership roles at Medtronic, Ms. Platt served in various business development roles at Dublin, Ohio-based Cardinal Health and GE Healthcare in Chicago.
3. Ms. Platt succeeds Julie Wilson, who retired from the company June 30. Ms. Wilson was the EHR vendor’s chief people officer for 16 years.
