UC Health appoints Michael Legg first chief data and analytics officer: 4 notes

Cincinnati-based UC Health has selected Michael Legg to serve as vice president and inaugural chief data and analytics officer, effective July 8.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Legg most recently served as executive director of reporting and analytics for Yale-New Haven Health System in New Haven, Conn.

2. He has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare and management consulting.

3. Mr. Legg holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from New Haven-based Yale University.

4. In his new role at UC Health, he will establish and oversee a formal process of gathering, interpreting and sharing data to enhance clinical decision-making and outcomes.
