21 women on the move in healthcare

The following executive moves made by women have been reported by Becker's since Dec. 9:

1. Stephanie Manson was named Acadiana market president at Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.

2. Carrie Byington, MD, is stepping down from her role as executive vice president at University of California's healthcare system. 

3. Jane Platten is leaving her role as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Cleveland-based MetroHealth System.

4. Suzanne Martinez, RN, was named chief nursing officer at El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center.

5. Patricia Bruckenthal, PhD, was named dean of Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Nursing. 

6. Danielle Mahaffey, MD, was named chief medical officer at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C.

7. Tracy Vardeman announced her retirement as chief strategy executive at Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville. 

8. Kristie Whitlatch, MSN, BSN, retired from her role as CEO of King's Daughters Health System in Ashland, Ky.

9. Kelli Enriquez was named president of Safety Harbor, Fla.-based Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin (Fla.) Hospital.

10. Kelli Sadler, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer at Corewell Health East in Southfield, Mich.

11. Heather Bentley Long, MSN, was appointed CEO of Leesburg-based UF Health Central Florida.

12. Shan Cooper was named chair of the Atlanta-based Grady Health System foundation board.

13. Tamera Larsen-Engelkes, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

14. Amelia Latu Afuhuaamango Tuipulotu, PhD, was named chief nursing officer at the World Health Organization.

15. Lori Spicer Robertson was named vice president and chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at Memphis, Tenn.-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

16. Rena Marsh was named vice president and chief diversity officer at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health.

17. Renee Buzby was named vice president of human resources at West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health.

18. Robyn Miller, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer at Belton (Mo.) Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health.

19. Susan Kaufman, DO, was appointed as vice president and chief medical officer at Lima (Ohio) Memorial Health System, an affiliate of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica.

20. Kimberly Guy was named co-COO of Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System.

21. Keri Eisenbeis, was promoted to senior vice president of corporate relations at Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System.
