Ms. Larsen-Engelkes first joined the health system as a nurse at Avera McKennan in 1996. In 2013, she was appointed nursing director for inpatient orthopedics, brain and spine, short stay, inpatient rehabilitation and rehab therapy departments.
Ms. Larsen-Engelkes most recently served as Avera Health’s vice president of informatics and will step into her new role at the end of December, according to a Dec. 13 news release shared with Becker’s.
