CEO to retire after 35 years at Kentucky system

President and CEO Kristie Whitlatch, MSN, BSN, is retiring from King’s Daughters Health System in Ashland, Ky.

Ms. Whitlatch plans to retire at the end of 2022 after serving the organization for 35 years, according to a Dec. 14 news release. She has served as president and CEO since 2013.

King’s Daughters said COO Sara Marks will be interim CEO, working alongside Autumn McFann, senior vice president and chief administrative/financial officer, who will also take on additional responsibilities.

Before becoming CEO, Ms. Whitlatch served as vice president and COO since 2011.

She will remain employed by Lexington-based University of Kentucky to assist with the transition, King’s Daughters said.
