Ms. Schlechter, who assumed thenew role at the end of July, most recently served as CEO for Bowdle (S.D.) Healthcare Center. She began her healthcare career as a bookkeeper at Lake Area Hospital in Webster, S.D., in the 1980s.
She succeeds Dave Keeler, who has retired.
