8 recent hospital, health system CNO, CMO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system chief nursing officer and chief medical officer moves in the last three weeks.

They are listed below, alphabetized by executive.

1. The HCA Gulf Coast Division selected Mujtaba Ali-Khan, DO, to serve as CMO.

2. Navicent Health Baldwin in Milledgeville, Ga., selected Douglas Brewer, MD, as CMO.

3. Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center tapped Louis Brusco, Jr., MD, as CMO of its campuses in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, N.J.

4. Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn., named Teresa Collins, MSN, RN, CNO.

5. Tyler-based UT Health East Texas named Tom Cummins, MD, CMO, and Christy Escandon, RN, BSN, was selected as CNO of UT Health Tyler.

6. Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua Health tapped Catherine Hughes, MSN, RN, to serve as senior vice president and CNO.

7. The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.) named John Roque, MSN, BSN, RN, CNO

8. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System tapped Angela A. Shippy, MD, to serve in an expanded role as senior vice president and chief medical and quality officer.
