8 latest hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last three weeks. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Shirley Nilsen, community relations manager at East Cooper Medical Center in Mt Pleasant, S.C., is retiring.

2. Linda Shroyer, CEO of Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, W. Va., is retiring at the end of the year.

3. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Health Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Susan McRoberts, BSN, MSN, expects to retire in mid-December.

4. William T. Richardson, president and CEO of Tift Regional Health System in Tifton, Ga., is retiring, effective January 2018.

5. Petersburg (Ark.) Medical Center CEO Elizabeth Woodyard, RN, is retiring in June 2018.

6. Jerry Fedele, president and CEO of Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital, is planning to retire in August 2018.

7. Jill Fuller, president and CEO of Watertown, S.D.-based Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, announced her intention to retire.

8. Bob Bonar, CEO of Minneapolis-based Children's Minnesota retired, effective Dec. 8.
