Garrett Regional Medical Center recently entered into a management agreement with Morgantown-based WVU Hospitals effective Jan. 1, 2018. The new agreement builds on the clinical affiliation between GRMC and WVU Medicine, which has been in effect since 2015.
As part of the management agreement, Mr. Boucot will take on leadership of Potomac Valley Hospital, succeeding Linda Shroyer, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Mr. Boucot has served as CEO at GRMC since 2013, prior to which served in several senior executive roles at several hospitals, including MedStar Saint Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Md., and Our Lady of Lourdes Health System in Camden, N.J. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and chairman of the board of directors for the Maryland Rural Health Association.
