Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Poteau-based Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center named Bob Carter interim CEO.

2. Cary D'Ortona is Orlando, Fla.-based Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children's new president.

3. Kelly Duke, CEO of Deming, N.M.-based Mimbres Memorial Hospital, abruptly resigned June 7.

4. Dallas-based Parkland Health & Hospital System tapped Marnese Barksdale Elder to serve as senior vice president and associate chief talent officer.

5. Penn Highlands Clearfield (Pa.) selected Rhonda Halstead to serve as president.

6. Kurt Johnson, president of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill., is retiring, effective June 30.

7. Sinai Hospital in Baltimore appointed Linda Kosnik, MSN, RN, its permanent vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

8. John Leslie, MD, CMO of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, is departing in mid-July.

9. Providence-based Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island named Rick Majzun president and COO, effective July 23.

10. Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center appointed Patsy Marinich, RN, chief administrative officer at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tenn.

11. Glencoe (Minn.) Regional Health Services selected Jeffrey S. Mason, BSN, RN, to serve as president and CEO, effective June 19.

12. Fort Smith, Ark.-based Sparks Health System named Yasmene McDaniel chief administrative officer.

13. Norman (Okla.) Regional Health System selected Brittni McGill, MSN, RN, to serve as its permanent chief nursing officer.

14. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Va., dropped 'interim' from CEO David McKnight's title.

15. Orlando (Fla.) Health named Shawn Molsberger president of South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Fla.

16. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Foundation, also known as Nemours Children's Health System, appointed R. Lawrence Moss, MD, president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.

17. Orlando (Fla.) Health appointed Kelly Nierstedt, BSN, MSN, president of Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando, Fla., effective July 9.

18. Allentown, Pa.-based Coordinated Health appointed Amy Nyberg its inaugural president and COO.

19. Lake Granbury (Texas) Medical Center named David Orcutt CEO, effective June 25.

20. Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System named Jack Owens, MD, MPH, chief quality officer.

21. UPMC Kane (Pa.) promoted Mark A. Papalia to president, effective June 1.

22. Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health selected Ben Patel to serve as CIO, effective July 16.

23. Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health selected Mark Reyngoudt to serve as CFO of Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa.

24. UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa) named David Stark president and CEO, effective July 1.

25. Mason City-based Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa President and CEO Dan Varnum is transitioning out of his role to take on a new job within Clive, Iowa-based Mercy Health Network, the medical center's parent.

26. Wailuku, Hawaii-based Maui Health System appointed Debbie Walsh, BSN, MSN, COO.

27. Dignity Health-Glendale (Calif.) Memorial Hospital appointed Jill Welton president and CEO.

28. Joel Wernick, president and CEO of Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System, will retire in May 2019.

29. Chicago-based Cook County Health & Hospitals System selected Ronald Wyatt, MD, to serve as chief quality officer.
