UnityPoint Health-Des Moines selects David Stark as new CEO: 5 notes

UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa) named David Stark president and CEO, effective July 1.

1. Mr. Stark most recently served as executive vice president and COO of the organization.

2. He has worked at UnityPoint Health-Des Moines since 1995.

3. He has held numerous leadership positions at UnityPoint Health, including as COO of Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

4. He is a founding board member for the American College of Healthcare Executives Chapter of Iowa.

5. Mr. Stark succeeds Eric Crowell, who is retiring after 17 years in the organization’s top post.
