Maui Health System selects Debbie Walsh as COO

Wailuku, Hawaii-based Maui Health System appointed Debbie Walsh, BSN, MSN, COO, according to The Maui News.

Ms. Walsh’s previous roles include CEO of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, Calif., and president and CEO of Fountain Valley (Calif.) Regional Hospital. She also served as president and CEO of USC University Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Center, both in Los Angeles.

Ms. Walsh has 20-plus years of leadership experience in community healthcare. She holds a master’s degree in nursing administration from Azusa (Calif.) Pacific University.

“I am excited to join the Maui Health System team and contribute to its mission to provide first-class medical care to the people of Maui and Lanai,” said Ms. Walsh, according to the report.
