12 recent chief medical, nursing officer moves

Twelve chief medical and nursing officer moves Becker's has covered since Nov. 18: 

Warwick, R.I.-based Kent Hospital has selected Tom Wold, DO, to serve as its chief medical officer, effective Dec. 12, it said in a Facebook post. 

Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Mo., has promoted its executive director of nursing, Lacey Carter, MSN, to chief nursing officer. 

UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, N.C., has welcomed Lorie Rhine, MSN, as its new chief nursing officer. She succeeds Joel Ray, MSN, who retired in the summer.

The University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia has tapped James Ballinghoff, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nurse executive, effective Dec. 1. 

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball appointed Angelle Rhemann, DNP, APRN, chief nursing officer, Community Impact reported Nov. 29.

Astria Sunnyside (Wash.) Hospital appointed Winnie Adams, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

Pontiac, Mich.-based McLaren Oakland appointed Laura Harmon, DNP, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services.

Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health named Trish Baise, DNP, RN, its first chief nursing executive.

Pam Johnson-Carlson, DNP, RN, has been named senior vice president and chief nursing officer of Omaha, Neb.-based Children's Hospital & Medical Center, the Fremont Tribune reported Nov. 19.

Jerry Capote, MD, will serve as chief medical officer of Broward Health North in Lighthouse Point, Fla., according to a Nov. 18 news release. The hospital also named Eileen Manniste, MSN, as chief nursing officer.
