The following hospital and health system CEO moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio, Texas, named Xochy Hurtado CEO.

2. Kay Takes was named president and CEO of Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque (Iowa).

3. Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C., named Tod Augsburger president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.

4. Wrangell (Alaska) Medical Center CEO Marla Sanger is leaving her position, effective Oct. 30.

5. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance named Michael Stenger president and CEO of Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Dyer, Ind. and Hammond, Ind., and Franciscan Healthcare in Munster, Ind., effective July 1.

6. David Fuller, CEO of North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Fla., resigned June 23.

7. Vibra Hospital of San Diego named Yameeka Jones CEO.

8. Sharon (Pa.) Regional Health System named Jason Roeback CEO, effective July 1.

9. Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare chose Patrick Battey, MD, as the next CEO of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

10. Michael Lally, CEO of Calais (Maine) Regional Hospital, resigned June 23.

11. Auburn, Ind.-based DeKalb Health named Craig Polkow CEO, effective Aug. 3.
